This labor intensive wet felted silk scarf really does live up to its name! A luxurious tangerine dream. I really enjoy making art you can wear! The summery flowers and colour are sure to have you thinking warm thoughts!

The combination of a 80:20 Merino wool and mulberry silk blend fibre ensure warmth and softness. The tissue silk incorporated keeps the scarf light and and soft. The design includes swirls and flowers, as well as the addition of extra silk fibres, hand spun two ply merino wool yarn, and silk embroidery threads for extra texture, lustre and interest! It comes with its own handmade, matching, hand dyed silk pouch as well, perfect for travel!

Included is a sample of the fibres used to make the scarf, for the rare event you need a repair. I think its nice to know that you have perfectly matched fibre ‘just in case’.

The scarf measures 25-28cm wide (part of the design is not to have a straight edge), and approx. 2m long.

To care for this item, I would suggest a luke-warm hand wash in a mild wool wash, or handle as you would any of your other delicate/wool items. If possible lay flat to dry, or drape over a clothes horse. Avoid pegs if possible due to the unattractive marks they leave and the risk of damage (hung outside on a violently windy day).
